Carlos Perona joined INL in Agust 2017 as Business and Strategic Relations Assistant at INL. He has interned for the Next Century Foundation in London, researching issues of preventive diplomacy and conflict resolution (to do with Bahraini reform and the Syrian conflict) and summarising relevant academic field-research papers, as well as for the Von Mises think-tank in Brussels, conducting policy research, monitoring EU legislation, editing a newsletter and writing press releases. He has consulted for an Italian urban renewal project in Noci, Puglia and collaborated with the think-tank Tomorrow Lab in the organizing of a conference, also engaging in sporadic collaborations with policy monitors and freelance tutoring.

His work at the INL involves research, strategy formulation for specific projects, identifying stakeholder and producing communication materials.

Carlos Perona has an MSc in Organizational Behaviour (LSE), a Master’s in International Relations (San Pablo CEU University) and a 1st Class Honours BSc in International Relations (University of Bath) (he has also studied courses in Experimental Literature and Religious Themes in Literature at Harvard University).
