Diagnostic Tools and Methods
Dr Krishna Kant is a Research Fellow at INL, involved in the N2020 FROnTHERA project. This project is running at the Department of Life Science, within the Diagnostic Tools & Methods unit of INL. The research project is focused on the Microfluidic technologies for 3D microtissues tumor cancer models. This developed microfluidic system will have sensing platform along with 3D multi-tissue in-vitro Tumour model on a chip.
During his career, he received expertise in nanomaterials and microfluidics for biotechnological applications. He obtained his Master´s degree in Nano-Biotechnology from Amity University, Noida, India, and Ph.D. in the field of electrochemical bio-sensing form Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. His recent postdoctoral research at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) was devoted to development of Point of care (POC) diagnostic system in the detection of Sepsis disease under the Horizon 2020, SMARTDIAGNOS project.
