Research Engineer
Research Engineer in the Nanosafety Research Group at INL, providing technical and hands-on expertise for implementing a quality system based on Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in the Nanosafety lab.
Master's degree in Characterization techniques and Chemical Analysis from the University of Minho, where developed an HPLC method for the detection of PAH´s in water. Have a Specialized Training Course in Chemistry and Food Quality and a Graduation in Chemistry – Biochemistry and Food Chemistry from the University of Aveiro.
Worked in a private laboratory performing water and food analysis, being responsible for implementing, validating, and quality controlling different analytical techniques for 18 years. During that period was responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality control system, which led to the Accreditation of the laboratory in 2009. In 2017 did a Specialization in Quality Management Systems (EN ISO 9001:2015) at IPQ (Quality Portuguese Institute).
