Foteini role at INL as a Research Fellow includes the development and evaluation of fast molecular biology-based methods for the detection of microorganisms of relevance in the spoilage of food products.

She holds a BSc degree in Chemistry (2016) from the National and Kapodisitrian University of Athens. In addition, she received an MSc diploma in Food Safety with specialisation in Applied Food Safety from Wageningen University.
