Water Quality
Lurdes is a research fellow in the Water Quality Group, department of life sciences at INL, developing sensors for harmful cyanobacterial blooms (CyanoHABs) monitoring.
She holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Instituto de Engenharia do Porto, Portugal, completed in 2016, specialising in Environmental Protection Technologies. Her master thesis was based on developing a biosensor for rapid diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease at Biomark group.
