Marcelo Viegas role at INL is focused on driving the use of information and communication technology in the organization, providing effective IT systems, helping develop and implement IT standards and policies and providing information and communication support and solutions to meet the needs of the organization.

Marcelo has a degree in Telecommunications Engineer by the University of Brasília, Brazil, and for the past 25 years he developed expertise in cybersecurity, networking, virtualization, Office 365, Microsoft systems administration and team leadership.
