Orlando Oliveira

Research Laboratory Assistant

Orlando joined INL in July 2017 to work on the development of nanoporous materials (COFs – covalent organic frameworks) through self-assembly of building blocks. At INL, he works in close collaboration with the Nanochemistry group. He has a graduation in Chemistry and a Master degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Minho (Portugal). During his Master thesis he worked on the synthesis of new pyridine based ligands for luminescent lanthanide complexes and in the study of their photophysical properties.
