As part of the Legal Team, Rita Gomes has recently joined INL – January 2022. Her role is to advise INL in all legal related matters, to support the INL’s constant growth and corporate development. As a member of the Legal Service, Rita will improve the Legal Services as a valued partner, proactively supporting the Organisation’s key activities and decisions by identifying and managing legal risks and compliance matters.

Rita started her career as an independent Lawyer, later provided legal consultancy to Family Companies businesses. Over the last nine years, she was engaged as an in-house lawyer in a Portuguese Group of Companies with interests in multiple sectors, focusing especially on Civil, Contracts, Commercial, Corporate, and Intellectual Property Law.

Rita has a Law Degree from the University of Porto, Portugal, a Post-graduation course in Tax from the University of Porto, a Post-graduation course in Companies Law and Corporate Governance from the University of Coimbra, Portugal and Fundesem in Alicante, Spain. Rita also earned a Law Degree in Spain, from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain and is admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.”
