2D Materials and Devices
Sergey Tkachev is a Research Engineer at 2D Materials and Devices Group, Quantum & Energy Materials Department at INL. Sergey focuses his scientific research on the area of nanomaterials chemistry and its industrial applications. Currently, his main responsibility is to develop graphene based ink and other graphene-based products for commercial applications in close cooperation with industrial companies.
Sergey gained his PhD degree in Chemistry from Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow, Russia) in 2012 and his diploma of Specialist in Chemistry from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2009. Before joining to INL, from 2009 to 2019 Sergey worked in the innovative scientific company АKKO LAB Ltd. (Moscow, Russia) and in the different scientific Institutes of Russian Academy of Sciences, where Sergey was a head or participant a great number of fundamental or practically significant projects. During this period his wide knowledge, experience and expertise in the definite field of science and technology and primary marketing and business knowledge allowed Sergey to develop new products based on graphene materials and nanoparticles of various compositions for their application in the different fields of industry: flexible printed electronics, composite materials, energy storage devices, textiles, medicine, sensors.
