MICRO AND NANO-STORIES CONTEST:
“SO MANY STORIES FIT IN A NANOWORLD: TELL THEM!”
This competition is organized by the CSIC – Superior Council for Scientific Investigations, and already has five editions in Spain. At the national level this year will be the first edition, organized by INL- International Nanotechnology Laboratory, in Braga, with the collaboration of the Universities of Minho and Aveiro, and the partnership of Porto Editora, in parallel and with the Spanish collaboration in this edition.
The objective of this contest is to foster interest in the educational community at the nanometer scale, the so-called nanoworld which, despite its small size, is diverse and interesting.
The competition is aimed at students from the 3rd Cycle and Secondary, from all interested schools in mainland Portugal.
Each participant, individually, may submit, under a pseudonym, only one work, with which he has not yet participated in any other contest.
Micro and Nano-Reports must have a limit of 200 words (excluding the title), in Portuguese. Prose texts, poetry, song lyrics, adventure stories, science fiction, fantasy, there are no limits to the imagination. The only requirements are creativity and the theme – Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Any text that does not fit this theme will not be evaluated. Guidelines here.
Attention, we delay (we do not cancel) the contest until the end of the course, we will specify the deadline when this exceptional situation ends. Thank you very much and a lot of strength to everyone to beat the coronavirus.
