Muñoz Research Group

Dr Yogita is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), where she is working on the development of advanced electrode materials for Zn-ion and Li-ion hybrid supercapacitors.

Before joining INL, she served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), India, where she contributed to the design and development of a Langmuir probe diagnostic setup for educational applications and studied plasma-based modification techniques for processing energy-related materials.

During her doctoral research, she focused on the rational design and synthesis of metal-organic framework (MOF)- derived transition metal phosphides and tellurides as high-performance anode materials for all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries. Beyond lithium-ion energy systems, her research experience also encompasses the development of MOF-based nitrogen and sulfur co-doped carbon materials for Li-ion and Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitors, pursued through collaborative research aimed at advancing next-generation energy storage technologies.
