Temple Douglas is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Hanay Research Group, specialising in advanced multimodal methodologies for quantitative characterisation of biophysical phenotypes to enable cancer diagnostics and treatment optimisation.
She earned an AB in Physics from Princeton University in 2014, with concentrations in Materials Science and Biophysics, and completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2018 through the Virginia Tech–Wake Forest University joint program.
Her research has resulted in multiple patent applications and translational technologies, including a hydrogel nanoparticle-based diagnostic for Lyme disease and a label-free platform for stratifying cancer cells by aggressiveness, among other innovations.
