Dr. Selim Hanay joined INL a Research Group Leader at INL in 2025. His research areas touch on several aspects of MEMS/NEMS and microfabrication, including sensing, computation, optomechanics, flexible devices and advanced integration. 

He has a PhD in Physics from Caltech in 2011. After a post-doctoral position at Caltech, he has joined Bilkent University Mechanical Engineering in 2013, establishing a lab focusing on NEMS sensing, NEMS nonlinear dynamics and microwave sensing.
