The present project aims to enhance the economic value of the R&D results produced by INL as well as to strengthen the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge to economic sector in the less developed regions of mainland Portugal, particularly the North, Center, and Alentejo regions.

The project focuses on promoting R&D results associated with nanotechnology, which, by definition, can be applied to various sectors of activity. It aims to reinforce internal competencies in the Technology Transfer component at INL and simultaneously promote knowledge dissemination actions to the economic fabric, whether through pre-commercial validation of R&D projects, demonstration and promotion of new technologies, the creation of specialized events and dissemination at specific events of interest, as well as through the appropriate protection of the generated scientific knowledge and the use of tools that enable the valorization of the generated intellectual property.
