Nanostructured Solar Cells

Diego Alejandro Garzón is a Junior Researcher at the Laboratory of Nanostructured Solar Cells (LaNaSC) at INL in Braga, Portugal. He focuses his research on the development of chemical depositions for the fabrication of thin film solar cells, especially for the deposition of Cd-free buffer layers.

Diego holds an M. Sc. in Nanomaterials science and technology from Universidade do Porto (Portugal) and an M. Sc. in Chemistry from Université Paris-Saclay (France). He did his bachelor's in Chemistry at Universidad de los Andes (Colombia). During his bachelor's, he did a summer internship at Cornell University (USA), where he worked within the Chen group on the synthesis of gold nanoparticles for single-molecule analysis.
