Natalia Spera
Application & Systems Integration Engineer

Natalia joined INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory – as a Research Engineer in the Nanochemistry Research Group. She is currently working with unconventional nanomaterials for catalytic conversion of CO2 into light olefins, especially core-shell solutions.
Being an Aircraft Maintenance Technologist from the Federal Institute of Sao Paulo (IFSP), she has a more technical approach towards research. She holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) where she worked with self-healing polymeric coatings projects and developed her master's thesis on the synthesis of refractories ceramics materials for thermal insulation. She is also a Production Engineering Specialist, which helps her understand the industry needs and apply them to her projects.
