Rita Policia is a Postdoctoral Researcher at INL, specialising in applied physics, printed electronics, and electrochemistry. Her current work focuses on developing sustainable high-voltage cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.

Rita Policia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics, a Master’s degree in Micro and Nanotechnology with a focus on magnetoelectric materials for sensor applications, and a PhD in Materials Engineering, specialising in printable luminescent and chromic materials for enhanced device integration. She later expanded her expertise in electrochemistry through research on bioelectrochemical systems for sustainable electrochemical sensor applications and bioenergy storage. She has over six years of research experience in materials science and engineering, with a strong focus on sustainable printed materials, energy storage, and advanced sensor technologies.
