Rui Pedro Ferreira Loureiro is a Research Assistant at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), where he is part of the Nanofabrication, Optoelectronics and Energy Applications (NOA) group. His current role focuses on cleanroom processes and the integration of micro- and nanofabrication techniques, building on previous experiences.

He holds a Master’s in Engineering Physics from Universidade do Minho, specialising in Devices, Microsystems, and Nanotechnologies. During his master’s, he completed a thesis at INL, where he developed low-temperature thermocompression bonding techniques on 8-inch wafers, acquiring strong experimental skills in the process.
