Samuel Gomes joined the Information and Communication Systems department at INL in July 2025 as an OutSystems Developer Officer. Before transitioning into software development, he worked in fleet management and airworthiness engineering, gaining hands-on experience in aviation operations, compliance, fleet management, logistics and technical oversight. Working in OutSystems since 2022, he has a keen interest in developing robust and scalable digital solutions that drive business efficiency through rapid development and seamless integration with legacy systems.

Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he gained a comprehensive understanding of core engineering principles. He has also earned certifications in multiple areas that he has worked in, demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
