PROMISE

Colorectal cancer patients have good chances of surviving primary tumors, but when metastasis comes, treatment options are limited, and patient’s response is not easy to predict. Results of PROMISE project aim to provide clinicians with better tools to understand and monitor therapeutic approaches of metastatic colorectal cancer patients. We believe that advanced bioengineering solutions combining new technologies such as bioprinting, biomaterials and microfluidics can provide researchers and doctors with a set of powerful devices that will definitely impact metastasis understanding and, ultimately, life expectancy of metastatic cancer patients. 3
