Junior researchers interested in carrying out a Ph.D. in the field of Batteries and Electron Microscopy have now the opportunity to engage in an interdisciplinary Ph.D. project promoted by the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory – INL in Braga, Portugal, to apply to the FCT Call for Ph.D. Studentships 2021

If the project is granted, the single candidate will have the opportunity to join the Gimenez Research Group at the University of Santiago (CiQUS) and the Atomic Structure-Composition of Materials Research Group at INL, respectively led by Dr. María Giménez and Prof. Paulo Ferreira.

During this Ph.D., the candidate will be trained to become a world-class expert in electron microscopy techniques, with Dr. Enrique Carbo-Argibay, from INL, and contribute to the development of the next generation of advanced materials for batteries.

The selected candidate will be strongly supported for an FCT application.
