INL Council members visited INL last Friday

Elvira Fortunato, Helena Pereira, and Madalena Alves visited INL last Friday, February 4, to learn firsthand about the different technologies that are developed at INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, with a strong orientation towards the new technologies and projects.

Elvira Fortunato is Full Professor and Vice-Rector of the NOVA School of Science and Technology, Helena Pereira is the current President of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology, and Madalena Alves is a Full Professor at the University of Minho Centre of Biological Engineering and they are part of the INL Council.

The Council is the sovereign body of the INL in which all member states are represented. It is composed of three representatives from each Member State and is currently presided by Helena Pereira, President of the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology. The vice president is José Juan Sánchez Serrano, Spanish Deputy Director-General for the Internationalization of Science and Innovation.
