INL associates to the Official Mourning declared by the Government of Spain

The INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, as per the decision of its Director-General, Lars Montelius, associates to the 10-Day Official Mourning declared by the Royal Decree from the Government of the Kingdom of Spain – one of INL Member States – to honour the victims of COVID-19.

Spain is the 5th most affected country in the world, with over 236,000 confirmed cases of infection, more than 27,000 of which have not survived (data of the 27th of May).

From the 27th of May to the 5th of June, INL will have its flag at half-pole and pay tribute to all the deceased and their families, while renewing the commitment to put Science at the service of the global society and dedicate it’s research efforts to develop solutions for this and other pandemics the world may be facing in the future.
