FoQaCiA Workshop 2025: Advancing the Frontiers of Quantum Computational Advantage
March 26, 2025
INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in Braga, Portugal, will host the second FoQaCiA’s Workshop on the Foundations of Quantum Computational Advantage from June 2–6, 2025. Organized by the FoQaCiA project, a collaborative research initiative spanning Europe and Canada, this event will bring together leading experts to explore the evolving boundaries of quantum and classical computational power.
Building on the success of its first edition at the Perimeter Institute in Canada, the 2025 workshop will offer a dynamic program featuring:
- Advanced Tutorials – A day and a half of specialized sessions tailored for students and early-career researchers.
- Invited Talks – Presentations from world-renowned experts in the field of quantum computing.
- Contributed Flash Talks and Posters – A platform for participants to showcase their research and engage in scientific discussions.
List of Tutorial Speakers (June 2-3)
- Jara Juana Bermejo-Vega, Universidad de Granada
Extended stabilizer methods in quantum computation - Anne Broadbent, University of Ottawa
Quantum cryptography - Ana Belén Sainz, Uniwersytet Gdański
Generalised contextuality: when does a phenomenon resist a classical explanation
