INL group leader Begoña Espiña appointed as Water Europe Expert 

Begoña Espiña has been at the forefront of research aimed at understanding the fate, bioaccumulation, and toxicity of nanomaterials in water, with a particular focus on implementing the safe-by-design concept.

Since 2016, her work has played a crucial role in addressing global water challenges, making her appointment a well-deserved recognition of her dedication and expertise.Her new role within the ZeroPollution & Health Expert Group is a testament to the importance of INL’s ongoing commitment to advancing water quality and sustainability.

Today, as we are celebrating World Water Day, we are reminded of the importance of collective efforts in safeguarding our most precious resource – water. Whether through scientific research, policy development, or community action, each of us plays a role in ensuring a sustainable and water-secure future for generations to come.
