André Faria is a member of the Micro and Nano Fabrication Facility staff. His core tasks are related with equipment maintenance on different approach such as preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance. With a wide action scope on Cleanroom equipment, he is a team member that gathers knowledge in electronics, informatics, pneumatics, mechanics and automation always applied in industrial or research processes.

André received a degree in electronic and informatic engineering in 2011 at Universidade Lusíada de Vila Nova de Famalicão and completed a master’s degree in engineering and quality management in 2015 at Universidade do Minho. He has two decades of experience in industry going through distinct roles and challenges. He is an optical inspection equipment specialist with focus on overall equipment running performance but also at cost reduction and machine improvement activities.
