Nanostructured Solar Cells

Cláudia Coelho is a Research Fellow in the Laboratory for Nanostructured Solar Cells (LaNaSC). Her focus is on fabricating and characterising a magnetic patterning device for reusable mask patterning under the REMAP project funded by the European Commission PathFinder programme. As a proof of concept, this device will be applied to fabricate micro solar cells.

Cláudia received his Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2014 and her PhD in Electronic and Computer Engineering in 2021, both from the University of Minho, Portugal. Her activities mainly focused on developing carbon nanotubes growth using chemical vapour deposition techniques and designing, fabricating, and characterising MEMS devices. During her studies, she acquired knowledge and practical experience in various areas, including micro and nanofabrication techniques. She also has experience in industry, where she worked on semiconductor packaging.
