Daniel is a researcher engineer in the Nanofabrication for Optoelectronic Applications group at INL where his research is focused on computer vision and machine learning sector for energy applications.

In 2018, obtained a Master degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the IPCA, Portugal.

Daniel is also a Guest Assistant Professor at Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), Portugal.
