Filipa Mota is a research fellow at the Integrated Micro and Nanotechnologies (IMiNa) research group at INL. Her job entails the design, fabrication and characterization of MEMS devices.

Filipa recieved her MSc degree in Engineering Physics in the field of Devices, Microsystems and Nanotechnologies from University of Minho in 2022. During her master's degree she joined the IMiNa group to work on her thesis entitled "Piezoresistive thin-film by metal-induced crystallization" where she developed polysilicon at low-temperatures to be implemented in MEMS devices.
