Guilherme Martins joined INL in October 2023 as a Research Engineer at Technology Engineering Group (TEG). His responsibilities are the design, modelling, simulation and production of mechanical components, systems and interfaces for a broad range of applications.

Guilherme is a mechanical engineering graduate with production field expertise (MSc) from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon. His main interests were mechanical design, additive manufacturing and material science. His career started in 2021 as a trainee in Casais, Engineering & Construction, focused on industrial modular construction unit's ramp-up, followed by being a tire development engineer at Continental, AG. In this role, he was responsible for the development of new products for the agricultural tires portfolio and quality enhancement projects' lead.
