1st edition of Sciencepreneurs awards three nano-tech startups

Eight science-based Startups presented groundbreaking solutions to investors and evaluators at the Sciencepreneurs day, showcasing creative applications of Key Enabling Technologies.
ChemiTek, the team behind the development of a cleaning spray that enhances the efficiency of solar panels, was the winner of the Sciencepreneurs 1st Prize, benefiting from a €5K award.
Mag2clean, a startup that creates magnetic nanoparticles that attract and destroy water pollutants won the 2nd Prize, followed by Gripwise, a company dedicated to gamified tools for neurological screening.
The event, organized by INL and Startup Braga, was powered by the Compete 2020 Fuel Project, that, overall, attributed over €10K to the selected companies.
