II Science Communication Meeting at INL

This event aimed to create a platform in collaboration with several scientists and science communicators and journalists and counted on the presence of Tiago Marques Ramalho, a science journalist at Público, João Paulo Vieira, executive director of the Centro Ciência Viva de Braga and also president of ORION – Sociedade Científica de Astronomia do Minho, Adriana Carneiro, PhD student in Biomedical Sciences at INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in partnership with ICBAS – Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar of the University of Porto, Sara Beatriz, journalist. Sara worked at Renascença, JPN and TSF. In 2022, he took over the editorial direction of Viral Check, the first Portuguese health fact-checking journal, and Cátia Santos, PhD in Biology and author of the Science Communication page “Help, I am a scientist”.

This was an open and free event aimed at the general public, science lovers and the curious and was attended by more than 150 participants.
