INL closer to the business at Braga Economy Week

The 4th Braga Economy Week* will take place from the 3rd to June 7th at Altice Fórum Braga. INL will be there to show both small and medium businesses and large corporations how nanotechnology is already the key enabler for innovation.

The 2019 edition will be dedicated to “Economy & Talent” and the international debate panel of the Economic Forum, on June 5th, 15h00 to 17h30, will be moderated by Gary Heath, INL Executive Vice Director of Innovation.

In the next day, June 6th, 14h30, INL and InvestBraga will promote the conference “Nanotechnology and the Industry Transformation”. This conference will count on the showcase of practical cases of nanotechnology industrial applications, with Júlio Grilo from Simoldes, a representative from IKEA Industry, and Manuel João Ferreira, from Neadvance, and a session of questions/answers open to all participants.

There will also be a debate on the opportunities and challenges in this field with Alexandre Mendes from Startup Braga; José Oliveira, Bosch Automotive; Luís Soares, Health Cluster Portugal; Ondina Afonso, SONAE MC, and Manuel Caldeira Cabral, former Portuguese Minister of Economy and Professor at the University of Minho.

At the end of this conference, Alexandre Mendes (ANI) will elucidate the participants about the funding mechanisms for R&D in co-promotion. You can check the full program here.
