INL joins EIT Food in a commitment to improving the way we feed ourselves

The INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory has just become the newest partner of EIT Food, Europe’s leading food innovation initiative, working to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted by consumers.

One of INL’s fields of research, within the Life Science Department, is Nano for Food, where are developed new nanoencapsulation techniques and intelligent packaging solutions, with the objective of contributing for healthy ageing, sustainability, and wellbeing.
Another focus of INL is food safety and food authenticity, with a dedicated research group.
By integrating EIT Food, INL is now part of a highly regarded group of organizations that strive to provide better food for everyone.
