INL receives Medal of Honour from the City of Braga

The INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory was delighted to be presented with the Medal of Honour of the City of Braga.
INL Director General, Lars Montelius, received the medal on behalf of the institution. The ceremony took place in the Theatro Circo on the day of S. Geraldo, the city’s patron, December 5th.
INL Director General considers that “receiving the Medal of Honour shows that INL, through its development as an important international reference point, is taking a position in the local eco-system that is highly visible, and appreciated by the municipality as being mutually beneficial”. “We feel very honoured by this award.
It is the result of our everyday work, our effort to articulate science, and nanotechnology in particular, within our community. This award will inspire all of us at INL to work even harder in our engagement with society,” added Lars Montelius, who received the medal from the City Mayor Ricardo Rio.
