In the scope of the NANOEATERS, INL has developed a molecular method (based on a DNA assay) as an authenticity verification tool to detect fraudulent actions in the market of olive seeds or oils.

Following the project, INL is looking for an SME placed in North Portugal (NANOEATERS Portuguese territory) to validate this molecular authenticity method in a real environment (olive seeds/oils market) and designing a specific business model for it.
INL will transfer the technology and provide the technical support needed for the method validation; the NANOEATERS consortium will provide mentoring services concerning the business model.

The SME selection will be done by INL and communicated to all participants in one week after the submission period. The selected SME must sign an agreement with INL concerning this service, which must be executed in 16 weeks maximum and by a price not higher than €19K.

NANOEATERS project is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2014-2020, with reference no. 0181_NANOEATERS_1_E.
