The President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, visited INL

The President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, visited INL this November 25th.

INL Director-General, Lars Montelius, and Deputy Director-General, Paulo Freitas, welcomed the President. Following a short presentation about INL and the impact it has on the regional development, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa visited different laboratories.

In an open meeting with the President, INL researchers and invited companies had the opportunity to briefly talk about their fields of research and collaborations.

In his closing remarks, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa highlighted the importance of conveying to the public the research activity developed at INL as well as the meaning of Nanotechnology.
