‘Message’ by Openfield Creative Lab, a new exhibition at the INL Gallery at gnration
October 12, 2021
Until December 31, the INL Gallery at gnration Arts Center in Braga, Portugal, will feature ‘Message’ by Openfield Creative Lab – a collective from Porto.
The collective creative studio is made up of different artists based in Porto and was founded in 2015 and integrates elements with professional paths in various areas – music, new media, architecture, audiovisual production and event organization.
At Openfield, they found the ideal space and structure to explore new projects. From the creation of immersive experiences in various media and platforms, they have been developing the intersections between art and technology, presenting several media works indoors and outdoors.
It is in the relationship between art and technology that the new work, ‘Message’, was built over the last few summer months at the INL – International Iberian Institute of Nanotechnology, through an artistic residence in collaboration with the Food Processing and Nutrition Research Group under the coordination of Miguel Xavier and with the participation of Arlete Marques and Fábio Loureiro.
Join us this Saturday, October 16, for the soft opening at the INL Gallery, starting from 15h00, where we will have time to explore the results and engage with the collective and the researchers involved.
